But I have promises to keep 'nd miles to go before I sleep...

You are young, energetic, free... You are just 21 or 22.

U starts earning. Earning well, getting a sense of responsibility.

U starts planning for your grandparents. A retirement home for them, a holiday abroad for your parents, want to give your Grand Ma a car of her own, so that she does not have to face the uncomfortable Bus rides. Giving her all the comfort, you have all the things on the list to achieve.

You have it all planned. "Grand ma, i wish to gift you a house, it will have your name written. All yours. You will not have to stay at your daughter's place. I have started earning now"

You forgot, they are getting older. They are falling sick day by day. And one fine day, they are gone. All of them. One by one.

.....The money you wanted to fulfil their dreams is what you have now, but they are not there.

Your father is a heart patient now. He was once the healthiest of them all. Your mother is not keeping well now. She is tired of all homely jobs. Cleaning, preparing food for you. She had given up all her dreams just to make you Something in life.......

All your attention has just shifted in making this one count. Making their smallest of the wishes getting fulfilled. Be it having a joy ride at odd hours, may be having a music CD of their favorite songs, having a wall paint of their Choice, going on a car rally, that wish of your father's of having a big car, a nice house with a lawn.

Now, that is all what you want to achieve before God takes him away. Before it’s too late.

Stranger between Friends!!!

At times you bring people together, make them talk to each other.... Remind them how they shared their good days together.

They started listening to you and value your comments.

Few days later, you start becoming a stranger to them... and finally you are a stranger to them. They are back being best of the friends.

They forget the efforts you had put in to bring them together. You were the only one who could see the misunderstanding which was a good relation, whereas others could just laugh at their dispute.

.......? what to say ????

Sab chalta hai

You go to purchase a water bottle, you hand over 15 rs. expecting the shop owner will return 3 rupees, you would just get 2 rs. and may be a toffee with that.....Sahaab chutta nahi hai!.....and you would not bother to question him. Chalta hai...

The other day, I went to a street vendor and asked for a copy of ET. I handed over 3 Rs to him expecting i will get back 50 paise remaining which he of course took for granted. And when i asked him for my 50 Pcs. he said, Ho gaya!.

Then i raised my voice a little and asked him what if i pay you 2 rs. then? He said "why? it doesnot work". I replied with more anger. "The same way it doesnot work when you charge me 3 rs". A lot surprised, a lot more angry and not at all ashamed, he searched for that 50 paise coin, lying somewhere neglected, and handed it over to me.

No wonder we ourselves have somewhere reduced the value of our currency.

I still remember when i was in Germany, every cent is counted and is considered valuable. If a water bottle costs 3 Euros and 20 cents, you need not pay even a cent more than that. Even if you pay 4 Euros, the vendor would insist ensure that he pays you 60 cents back.

But yaha sab chalta hai!!!
